  • Christy Burden, NIHR Clinical lecturer in O&G, led a systematic review of 144 studies of bereavement care for the Lancet Ending Preventable Stillbirth Series. The study had central stage in paper 3 of the Lancet Series (http://press.thelancet.com/Stillbirths3.pdf) with Christy co-author, and was also published in full in a linked BMC Stillbirth series with Christy as first author. Christy is now working with her supervisor (Dr Siassakos) and the Lancet authors to translate this research and further work into global impact, to end preventable harm.
